1996 Cobra Mustang
When we purchased the car, the seller said that he was told that he was the third owner, making us the fourth. He provided a Carfax report showing it has been titled in Wisconsin since new, following is a summary with what we assume to be the correct period for the second owner, as the report only shows the ownership change to the people we purchased it from. There are no accident records in the Carfax or disclosed, and physically every indication is that there have been no repairs or painting and the ID labels are still affixed to body panels, including the nose. The only paint repair I have done is touch up for “road rash”.

2. Second owner purchased in August 2000 with 32,805 miles
3. Third owner purchased in May 2003 with 35,652 miles
4. We purchased in July 2012 with 50,912 miles
5. Mileage as of July 2025 is 68,6xx
At the time of purchase, the car was as manufactured, other than maintenance items and the following changes disclosed by the seller:
1. Cold air kit installed prior to his purchase, original air intake was not provided.
2. Cobra R styled 18” x 9.5” wheels (aftermarket, not Ford) with Goodyear Eagle GT 245/40ZR18 tires. Original wheels were included that have non-OEM tires mounted, they were manufactured in 2000 per date code.
3. Side windows had been tinted, I have since removed the tinting for personal preference.
4. Seller disclosed that the exhaust had been replaced prior to his ownership, I believe the exhaust is still stock to the car.
5. Grill emblem was changed from pony to snake prior to our purchase, pony emblem was not provided.
During our ownership, the car has not required any repairs other than normal maintenance items and replacement of the rear sway bar that snapped pulling into a gas station. There is no indication that the engine, transmission or rear end have ever had any repairs. I did replace the differential cover gasket as there was a tiny amount of seepage that bothered me, no problem since. I have made a number of changes to the car that are listed below, I have kept all take off parts that will be included, except for maintenance items and the sway bar noted above. · Ford Door panel insert, driver’s side (2022)

The car has been kept in our garage during our ownership. It also appears to have been well kept by previous owners and is in excellent running order, everything works as designed. Convertible top is in excellent condition. The driver’s seat was repaired prior to our purchase and, while not a perfect match, it has held up well with no further repair required.
Battery tender, car cover and SVT flag will be included with purchase, as well as documentation that came with the car or that I purchased since.
